⁣An anonymous person and his gang hijacks the central prison in Karnataka, where they capture prisoners, prison officials and Vaman Srinivasan, ex-CBI officer, and hold them as hostages. ACP Chengappa is assigned to solve the hostage issue. A cat-and-mouse game ensues between the anonymous person and Chengappa during which the person is revealed as Dalavayi Muddanna alias "Big Daddy", an infamous crime boss.
Chengappa learns that Dalavayi and his gang hijacked the prison to steal gold bars. It is revealed that Vaman had discovered the gold bars during a CBI raid and had hidden it in the prison, due to public attention of a controversial gold scam. Vaman and Thomas, the prison officer, decided to retrieve the gold by implementing privatisation of the prison in order to distract the public, but Prabhu, one of Vaman's officers, learnt about their plan and decide to expose their secrets. ⁣In Northeast India, a priest and his daughter travel by boat to a temple during a festival. When the daughter is injured and her blood spills into the river, it releases Baak, a shapeshifting demon. Baak kills the daughter and assumes her form. The priest then traps Baak's soul in a vessel, forcing it to take his daughter's place permanently for the sake of his wife. The scene shifts to a village where Selvi and her husband, Santhosh, live with their children, Sakthi and Saravanan Jr. Santhosh dies of a heart attack in the forest, and Selvi apparently hangs herself in their well. Witnessing her deceased mother, Sakthi falls into a coma. Upon hearing of the deaths, Selvi's brother, Saravanan, an advocate, visits the grieving children along with his aunt. In the village, the zamindar's granddaughter, Maya, a doctor, is assigned to care for Sakthi. Soon, they start experiencing paranormal activities in the house.
Saravanan suspects that Selvi's death was not a suicide and visits the police station with Ravi, the village president's son. They are dismissed rudely by the inspector. Ravi then shows Saravanan a video of his late brother-in-law being stalked by a swami before his death. Later, while they are in their jeep, a spirit attacks, and Saravanan steps out to investigate. During this, a spirit looking like Selvi attacks Ravi. Hearing Ravi's scream, Saravanan returns to find the jeep and Ravi gone, with only the video camera left behind, showing footage of the swami once again. The next morning, Saravanan finds the jeep smashed against a tree with Ravi's corpse on top. Initially suspected by the police, Saravanan clears his name using the video camera evidence. The police, now convinced, help Saravanan search for the swami's lair, where they find photographs of all the recent victims Selvi, Santhosh, Ravi, and Sakthi. Chitra Aravindhan, along with his three friends, Aarthi, Thambesh, and Harish, runs a YouTube channel called "Barking Dogs" in Chennai. They focus on creating parodies and political satires, which garner them lakhs of views. However, when a young lady dies by suicide, the team discovers that corrupt officials caused her death. In response, they protest, demanding justice. The police arrest them, but they eventually get bailed out by Chitra's girlfriend, Disha. She lectures them that they cannot single-handedly change the country. Soon, they launch a campaign titled "Come Back Indian," believing that only Senapathy, alias "Indian Thatha," can put an end to the corruption once and for all.
Nilesh, one of Chitra's friends, spots Senapathy in Taipei and discovers that he is running a martial arts school there, teaching Varma Kalai. Nilesh persuades him to return to Chennai, which he eventually does, by using his senior mentor's passport. CBI officers Pramod and Elango attempt to capture Senapathy upon his arrival in India but fail. Senapathy initially starts targeting corrupt individuals in Gujarat and Odisha. Then, he urges his followers and the public to expose corrupt individuals in their respective states through peaceful means, inspired by Gandhi's principles, while he will uphold the ideals of Subhas Chandra Bose. He emphasises that people should prioritise addressing corruption at home before tackling external issues. Senapathy also tearfully mentions that he had killed his own son, Chandrabose "Chandru", in 1996 as he too was a part of the corruption in the country back then and was directly responsible for the deaths of 40 school children due to a brake fault in their school bus. This results in everyone getting motivated; Chitra and his friends then start monitoring their parents' activities to uncover any wrongdoing. Harish visits his uncle's motel and discovers they serve stale food to customers. Thambesh finds out that his brother-in-law, Nanjunda Moorthy, accepts bribes from customers, as does Aarthi's mother, Kanagalatha. They report their findings to the Anti-Corruption Vigilance Team (ACVT), leading to their parents' arrest.

Lisa returns to the cemetery and speaks to the grave of a young man who died in 1837; a pianist who had fallen in love with a woman in his own time before she left him for another man, and was later killed by a lightning strike. A bolt of lightning strikes his grave after Lisa leaves, and the man is brought back to life as a zombie.
The man (referred to as “The Creature” in the film’s credits) breaks into the house. Lisa is initially terrified, but eventually recognizes him as the man whose grave she dotes on, and decides to hide him in her closet. The Creature is mute, covered in debris, and missing multiple body parts.
Lisa claims that a burglar broke in to explain the mess made by the Creature, but Janet claims she is making it up for attention. When she threatens to send Lisa to an asylum, the Creature kills Janet and cuts off her ear before the two dump Janet's body in the cemetery. Lisa sews Janet's ear onto the Creature, but discovers that the parts will not work without a current. They use Taffy's tanning bed to revive the ear, which also restores the Creature to a more human appearance. Lisa then lures Doug to the cemetery so that she can cut off his hand for the Creature. The Creature kills Doug and hides his body with Janet's. Once again able to play the piano, the Creature starts to bond with Lisa.
