⁣Inspector Prabhakaran sets on a crusade to finish all gangsters in the city of Chennai, where he locks horns with Daali and Chitte, who are ruthless gangster controlling the city's market with the influence of their boss Uncle. While on a police operation to encounter Uncle's aid Baby, Prabhakaran captures Daali's brother Cockroach and kils him in an encounter. Enraged, Daali, Chitte and his men shoots Prabhakaran during his morning jog, where Prabhakaran's fiancèe Venba gets killed in a crossfire. Distraught about Venba's death, Prabhakaran begins hunting down and killing Daali's associates, including Chitte. Prabhakaran learns that Venba's sister Venmathi is caught by the Goa Police during a raid, where he saves Venmathi. Learning that Prabhakaran is targeting him, Daali sends a hitman to finish Prabhakaran, but Prabhakaran manages to kill the hitmen and crashes into Daali's birthday bash. ⁣Vasudevan "Vasu" is the heir of Kovai Group, a cloth manufacturing company in Coimbatore. Due to a misunderstanding, Vasu gets disowned by his mother and matriarch of his joint family Rajalakshmi. ⁣When Veda and Arjun's families meet to discuss their marriage, the conversation revolves around their shared interests and hobbies. Both sets of parents seem to agree that the couple would make a 'perfect match', as they share many hobbies and common interests. Veda's grandmother, who is religious and widowed, walks into the room, and casually enquires if the couple have had sex yet. The other elders are shocked, and Arjun and Veda are left embarrassed. Veda's grandmother insists on the importance of physical intimacy in a relationship, as she believes hobbies can be abandoned and interests change over time. ⁣Following the modern, middle-class female experience and the lives of urban women, all with the common surname of Sharma.

⁣Raj Malhotra and Simran Singh are both non-resident Indians (NRIs) living in London. Simran is brought up in a strict and conservative household by her parents Baldev Singh and Lajwanti while Raj is raised by his liberal father Dharamvir Malhotra. Simran always dreams of meeting her ideal man; her mother Lajjo warns her against this, saying dreams are good, but one should not blindly believe they come true. One day, Baldev receives a letter from his friend Ajit, who lives in Punjab, India. Ajit wants to keep the promise he and Baldev made to each other 20 years ago — to have Simran marry his son Kuljeet. Simran is disappointed, as she does not want to marry someone whom she has never met.
One evening, Raj enters Baldev's shop after closing time to buy beer. Baldev refuses, but Raj grabs a case of beer, throws money on the counter, and runs away. An infuriated Baldev calls Raj a disgrace to India. Meanwhile, Dharamvir agrees to his request to go on a train trip across Europe with his friends, and Simran's friends have invited her to go on the same trip. Simran asks Baldev to let her see the world before her marriage, and he reluctantly agrees.

⁣Jaspal Singh (Tarsem Jassar), an honest person, is appointed as a Kanungo (a Revenue Inspector, under whom five Patwaris or agricultural land clerks work). Therefore, Kashmiro (Gurpreet Kaur Bhangu), a well wisher and senior lady from his village, wants him to marry her niece, Harman (Nimrat Khaira), who is a teacher in a government school and wants to marry someone in a government job.
Bharpur Singh (Karamjit Anmol), who is a corrupt Patwari (agricultural land clerk) from Harman's village, also has his eye on Harman. When he approaches Harman's drunken and illiterate father regarding his land, he lies and informs him that a Patwari post is higher and richer than that of Kanungo, and therefore the father should have Harman marry Bharpur. So when Jaspal and his family approach Harman's family for her hand, Harman's father refuses them, even though everyone, including Harman, likes Jaspal. As Jaspal is leaving, Harman advises him to work hard and get a post of Patwari so that her father will accept him, to which Jaspal replies that hard work leads to promotion and not demotion, so how can he become a junior official when he is a senior official?

Chitra Aravindhan, along with his three friends, Aarthi, Thambesh, and Harish, runs a YouTube channel called "Barking Dogs" in Chennai. They focus on creating parodies and political satires, which garner them lakhs of views. However, when a young lady dies by suicide, the team discovers that corrupt officials caused her death. In response, they protest, demanding justice. The police arrest them, but they eventually get bailed out by Chitra's girlfriend, Disha. She lectures them that they cannot single-handedly change the country. Soon, they launch a campaign titled "Come Back Indian," believing that only Senapathy, alias "Indian Thatha," can put an end to the corruption once and for all.
Nilesh, one of Chitra's friends, spots Senapathy in Taipei and discovers that he is running a martial arts school there, teaching Varma Kalai. Nilesh persuades him to return to Chennai, which he eventually does, by using his senior mentor's passport. CBI officers Pramod and Elango attempt to capture Senapathy upon his arrival in India but fail. Senapathy initially starts targeting corrupt individuals in Gujarat and Odisha. Then, he urges his followers and the public to expose corrupt individuals in their respective states through peaceful means, inspired by Gandhi's principles, while he will uphold the ideals of Subhas Chandra Bose. He emphasises that people should prioritise addressing corruption at home before tackling external issues. Senapathy also tearfully mentions that he had killed his own son, Chandrabose "Chandru", in 1996 as he too was a part of the corruption in the country back then and was directly responsible for the deaths of 40 school children due to a brake fault in their school bus. This results in everyone getting motivated; Chitra and his friends then start monitoring their parents' activities to uncover any wrongdoing. Harish visits his uncle's motel and discovers they serve stale food to customers. Thambesh finds out that his brother-in-law, Nanjunda Moorthy, accepts bribes from customers, as does Aarthi's mother, Kanagalatha. They report their findings to the Anti-Corruption Vigilance Team (ACVT), leading to their parents' arrest.

⁣In the year 2043, humanoid artificial intelligence terrorist Harlan leads a war of machines against humans, which leaves 3 million people dead. The military forces of a new International Coalition of Nations (ICN) win a string of victories against Harlan and force him to flee into outer space.
Twenty-eight years later, Atlas Shepherd, an analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence and the daughter of Harlan's designer, searches for the fugitive. After one of Harlan's AI agents is captured and interrogated, Atlas discovers that Harlan has escaped to a planet in the Andromeda Galaxy, and insists that she accompanies the military mission to find and capture it.
Moments before the mech-equipped ICN Rangers descend to the planet, Harlan's drones attack their orbiting ship. In order to survive, Atlas is forced to enter a mech herself and falls to the planet as the ship is destroyed. Atlas manages to gain basic control of the mech despite her distrust of the onboard AI, who introduces itself as Smith. Atlas orders Smith to head to the planned drop point, where she finds the rest of the rangers dead. She reluctantly agrees to directly interface her mind with Smith, allowing for greater control of the mech. As they journey towards a rescue pod, Atlas and Smith begin to bond, and she reveals to it that her mother was the one who created Harlan.
